Hiding your online status

    I've noticed a lot of people hide their online status so no-one knows if they're currently online or when they were last online (for whatever reason). Does this also mean their name doesn't show up on the front page where it says which members are online now?

    Correct - there are two settings in the privacy section of your account:

    https://www.propertychat.com.au/community/account/privacy

    "Show your online status" controls whether users see you in the list in the sidebar

    "Show your current activity" controls whether users can see what you were most recently doing.

    Turning off the first option automatically turns off the second option as well.

    Yup. I wear a tin foil hat on days ending in 'y' & incognito mode on a vpn to ensure I can't be seen :)
