    i am invester with 4 properties spread around the country and are looking to invest again. I'm also looking at ways of increasing valuations, to increase equity.

    Hi Squire,

    The best way I know to increase valuations requires almost zero money out of your pocket - get your broker to get some valuations from different lenders and see which one is highest. Sometimes the difference is literally $100k - the deposit for your next IP could be closer than you think :)

    Otherwise, I'm a big fan of renovating for additional equity, too.

    Welcome @Squire15. What's your current portfolio looks like and what are your goals?

    @Jess Peletier nailed it. "Valuation shopping" can be like a free renovation. :)
