    Over the years, have bought property and rented out. These properties are now run down and so need to either update or develop. Have decided to get into multi unit development and see how we go.

    We have obtained town planning approval for 4 townhouses and are now looking to finding a builder as well as trying to get finance, which is proving to be very difficult.

    4 is tricky to fund under residential but can be done - are you using a broker?
