I'm a bit concerned about your nick .

Daisy cutter . I'm familiar with the phrase " pushing up Daisy's " . But daisy cutter ?

I keep on getting this image of someone wandering around cutting Daisy's that others have been pushing up . .....Sort of a caretaker role for the godfather .

    Clarification ..?

I assume there's an innocent explanation

The whole point of this place is to be a valuable resource for investors, I would think.

The more, the merrier. Better have a flood of new investors asking newbie questions than them going out an making major mistakes in the real world.

I don't think the " core community " would have an issue with any one who has a genuine interest in learning about property investing .

My observation is that many of the long term members started off as newbies on the forum and learnt most of what they know from the forum . That is the reason why they still hang around and are prepared to share their knowledge . They're prepared to give back on the basis of the benefit they've received .

I had the good sense to marry a smart property person. I'm the sort who didn't have a strategy, but me and the wife have just accumulate where possible with capital growth in mind, use renovation when necessary and, most of all, never ever ever sell. It's a solid portfolio and we like having property and watching the market as much as anything else.

    Hi Cliff,
I'm also in a band called The Daisycutters which was taken from a military manual describing the largest non-nuclear explosive device known to man at the time. Needless to say it's a power-pop quartette :D
