Hi all. Such a great forum. I've been stalking it for years! Figured it's only polite to introduce myself. A bit about me.. * I work in finance; trading/risk. Based at Barrangaro. * Obsessed with property/shares/trading since uni; a little too much academia and not enough action for a while there! Did focus on career though and built salary up to very high level. * Bought first property ~ 2012, and mentally the flood gates opened. Have 4 now - 2 in Sydney, 2 in Newcastle. Also have a big share portfolio. * Am actually looking to buy on the Gold Coast at the minute. About to fly there... Look forward to learning/sharing!
NoLimits, Thanks for fessing up. It felt like someone was stalking me. I just thought it was an ex acquaintance from the Druitt. I can now get rid of all those baseball bats from around the house.
** * I work in finance; trading/risk *** sounds like imparting some wisdom as well be careful about those pesky regulations , they can be a minefield if you deviate from the official narrative some people have to say the economy is booming , property prices never fall .. etc etc only folks like Jim Rogers and Ray Dalio get to say different and not be ostracized but cheers and welcome PS try not to test positive , one positive test can shut half the state down for weeks ( unless you are a major movie star of course , then it will be kept secret )
NoLimits, how do you like living at Barangaroo? Do you own your apartment there? If not, would you ever buy there for self-use or investment?
Yep. And no I wouldn't buy there to live, as I like a very peaceful, serene sort of vibe. Birds chirping, wind in the leaves, no traffic, that sort of thing. As an investment - I have no idea honestly; decided early to exclude the CBD from my portfolio.
