    I am a personal assistant and have been investing in property for many years. After an acrimonious divorce five years ago I had to start all over again. I now have 3 properties and am looking to buy my fourth.

    my brother went through a divorce 5 years ago. his asset halved. thought it will take longer for him to recover.

    recently found out he's accumulated at least a $2m portfolio on top of what he already have. he doesn't talk much about what he bought or own. just me stalking him on rpdata to find how much he bought...

    'got nothing to lose' attitude (from a divorce?) sometimes get's you places..

    Couldn't agree more RetireRich101 - I live by the mantra when you fall down just pick yourself up and keep on moving. I am responsible for me and me only and the choices I make in life reflect this.
