    Hi All
    I am Chris ... retired Accountant,Tax Agent and Project Manager. I have been a member of Somersoft since August 2003. My life has changed considerably in that time. When I joined I was madly investing in Cairns properties. My husband and I had already established ourselves with suburban houses in Melbourne and we then started to expand our portfolio through Cairns. The Pilot Strike had given us the chance to pick up properties in Cairns for half price.

    I have now sold down and am enjoying retirement with just a few rental properties vs the 16 we had before my husband died. I am still involved with renovating but mainly enjoying life

    I enjoy following everyone's adventures, particularly Scott's (Depreciator) family travels.

    Thanks Simon for giving us the opportunity to continue our exchange of information and the ability to follow people's property adventures.

    Hi Dave....I remember our chats very well. I see you have now moved States. My life has certainly changed in the time I have known you!!! but thats life I suppose. I am not sure I have got this new site worked out but I will learn :) Hope all is well with you

    I remember meeting you and your husband at the Doncaster Hotel for lunch when Sam moved down here. So much has happened since then!! I had to come over here I could not lose track of all the people I have followed for so long :)

    I'll have to take the family on another trip, Chris. One of the girls is now reading the Western Australian diary. it's nice to see. She was too young at the time to be interested. She's a bit miffed that her older sister got more mentions.

    I printed them all out and have them in a folder. I reread them every now and then when I need a giggle. It is time you went on another trip

    I remember well our conversations when I was madly investing in Cairns and you were investing in Queensland at the same time. I have very little left up there now but always keep watching. I spend a lot of time in Texas these days. Life has certainly changed for us all.
