Very average, but still get out there couple of times a week, I like inner west, Torrensville, Thebarton pocket, though looking at the southern areas in Hallet Cove to get a rental or two over the next 12-18months, Mainly to give my niece a great start in life in about 15-20 years

I'm very bullish on inner west as well, I think you could do very well there.

Not so bullish on Hallett Cove to be honest, because:
    - Already circa Adelaide median
    - Whilst nice view doesnt have beach
    - Poor yields so reliant on CG
    - Better options for cg elsewhere

A summary was done on the southern areas just recently SA - Outer Southern Suburbs Adelaide Summary but hang tight for the west write up coming up soon.

great, have been gone a little while, Torrensville wasn't a great suburb ( not terrible but not sought after ) when I bought into it in late 90's , but now is crazy with very little on the market and very quickly off it.

    Hi Average Golfer.
You purchased a property in Torrensville in the 90s? What an awesome move, yes very very sought after trendy suburb at the moment. Well done on the purchase.

I also live in and invest in the western suburbs and most of our work is concentrated there too. I also have the same view point as you with the suburbs you mentioned as well as all the west torrens areas in addition to that. Spot on.

I wrote a post some time back on why I love Adelaide Western Suburbs: SA - Adelaide Western Suburbs - City to Sea
... and off course there are golf courses ;)

Welcome back home. Where overseas have you come from?

    Gday Golfer, welcome aboard.
Though some have been known to be skeptical of that nickname, might be closer to Adel-crapperthancaberra-aide ;)
Where abouts are your other IP's?

I wonder if I can change my name to UselessGolfer?

Welcome! What courses do you play at?

Agreed regarding Torrensville and the like - amazing seeing the huge demand in these areas as of late, especially with younger professionals clambering over areas that their parents wouldn't have touched with a 10 foot pole originally.

Hi all sorry for the delayed response have things to attend to in the states, I have been in America for a while, I have 2 in Torrensville ( bought for $124k and $178k and one in Dulwich ( which i bought for $342k and thought was way to much ) and a place in Chicago which is being guttered and redone as we speak.
As for the golf I play at Royal Adelaide, but that lets me on at Kooyonga at times.
