    Hi Everyone,

    Used to be on Somersoft for a bit and then took a break from forums due to challenges in personal life, but now I'm back with a vengeance. I've been reading up on this forum this last week to try and catch up with what's going on in the current market. As for IP's, I've got two of them and I bought them before I ever found Somersoft, so they are not the best of IP's but they are okay(ish). Planning to buy another IP but this time make a smarter choice with the help of experts on this forum.

    I feel happy to be back on property forums :)

    Thanks for the warm welcome everyone :)

    D.T., yes that's the correct pronunciation. I'm still totally in the blind but general feeling is that I should invest somewhere in QLD, maybe around Brisbane. The issue is I live in Sydney and have only ever been as far as Gold Coast, so I've absolutely no idea about the areas people talk about here. So next on my to-do list is to look at a map and familiarise myself with the areas that people have been discussing on the Brisbane threads.

    Jamie, Ryu also had the Shoryuken and Hadouken moves similar to Ken if I remember correctly.

    Shoryuken here though is meant to be more a self-motivating name "Sure you can" ;)

    I think you meant Ken also had the shoruyken and hadouken moves similar to Ryu ;)

    Regarding your comment about not knowing the Brissy area well, I was in a similar mindset months ago until I connected with the people who is currently investing in the market that I was interested in. Asked a lot of questions, and ended up building a team I know full well that I can trust due to the fact that they know the area like the back of their hand. (property manager, B&P guys, lawyer)
    So keep searching the forums and connect with the people who have the same target market as yourself.
