Started investing property back in 2006 and bought my first cashflow positive property in West Wyalong and learnt it wasn't such a good investment after selling it in 2011 for the same price. The positive I got out of this property was I got an extra $100 a week and learnt how to manage a property remotely sight unseen. Since then I've learnt in order to build a successful portfolio you will need capital growth and that's what I discovered when our property in Sydney skyrocketed and increased by 70%. So now I've got a lot more equity and this starts my property journey... Hope to share my journey along the way and also learn and help other PC members.
Hi Tom, Plans are to buy and hold properties close to the CBD area interstate at various times depending on how the market is performing. Here are my goals: http://somersoft.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1329107#post1329107
That's impressive Tyrone, not many people like buying site unseen. But you have the experience now, you can do it anywhere.
