Sorry yes, should be able to do tomorrow or Thursday. I'll try and find some running shoes and take them into work tomorrow.

Thanks for the tip, I know it can be a bit of a pain. When I had glandular fever, I avoided everything that had any significant amount of sugar in it for three months (even fruit).

Now I'm not too fussed about sugar to be honest as I cook most of what I eat myself, so I can control how much sugar goes into it. And the only sugar I generally put into my food is in the form of vegetable stock and sometimes some other sauces. But all in all, it's not that much.
Plus, I don't really see the difference between sugars and simple starches, they're effectively the same.

Laps around Hyde Park, Domain, Royal Botanic Gardens?

Just like with investing, there's always excuses for not exercising and there's always ways that you can make it work if you really want to.

It was the Ex PPOR house, so no CGT! :)
Still, there were costs in doing the house up, styling, advertising, selling etc... still very good. I'll be looking at listing the unit I wanted to sell in July too, with the interest rate cut I think the market is better than it was earlier this year, and it will fall into next year's tax year. I just saw another strong sale in that block go through, it attracted an even stronger and higher price than the previous 2 recent strong sales.

Bugger, couldn't find my sneakers this morning. I'm assuming that my dear wife chucked them out because "they've had it". :(
I didn't want to wake her to ask her this morning. I'll ask her tonight or on the off chance that you know where I can get some size 14 (UK) sneakers for a reasonable price in Parramatta, let me know!

    Sorry about that!

Ok, i'll bring my gear to the office anyway, I guess some specialised sports store in the Westfield should have that, I dunno about the reasonable price aspect of it though!

If it's just for a backup pair, there is a Kmart and Target out there in the Westfield.

But, won't the purchase of a new ppor chew into most of the profit you gain from the sale of old ppor?

Size 14, neither Kmart nor Target sell a single pair of sneakers in that size.
I had a look at "Pay Less" but their size 15 (US sizing, same as AU/UK 14) is either sold out or was never available to start with.

@spludgey, you could set up a tall men/tall women shoe business? There must be a fair number of people with feet larger than a size 12.

Judging by the impact on my fat levels, I would rate sugar and wheat flour on a par. My weakness is baked foods that combine both. I can control my weight simply by eating less sweet baked goods.

Recently, I have been trying to limit myself to one (or less) per day, plus I have been walking to the train some mornings (25 mins) and home most afternoons. 2kg gone already with minimal effort.
