    It seems that everyone's doing it, so I guess I'd better introduce myself.

    I'm a long time member of SS, and been investing since the dinosaurs were around (well, at least it seems that way). We've got a decent sized portfolio & Hubby is retiring from his PAYG job in September.

    We've got property all over the place & are currently selling down some Sydney stock.

    I haven't worked a traditional 'job' for a while now, although have done a variety of bits & pieces over the years. I have an online store selling roller skates. www.skatepro.com.au Not sure if we're allowed to do links, but I guess I'll find out, if Sim tells me off for it. :oops:

    I'm not planning on stopping, but I don't 'work' traditional hours and have plenty of spare time. Hubby is going to be my 'stock boy' for the Christmas rush.

    Well......everything we've got in Western Sydney has doubled & then some............
    I remember telling Hubby years ago now, that he could retire when the next boom came around. He'd been nagging me ever since.
