i was going through a few inspections which had heritage overlays no much restrictions but I read some lenders do not prefer to lending to properties with heritage overlay ?

Our house has a heritage overlay, we've had 2 different banks provide the finance over the years and several equity releases back up to 80% - has never been an issue so far. Might be different over 80% or in different postcodes, but for us it has never been a problem.

No issue with mine either but we weren't taking on a loan of more than 80%. Seems that the home insurance through the bank is extremely reasonable too, which surprised me.
