    Hello everyone

What is HCA ? And what are the restrictions of having a home in a HCA area? Our council has proposed to zone our area as HCA . What rights do residents have to defend the same. Thanks

My house caused the street around my house to be HCA.... :D
The thing that affects us is that we’d have to submit a DA if we want to put on roof solar panels, and the solar panels can’t be on the street facing side of the house.

Thanks Gockie but in our case our area has already changed. We have 3 duplexes in our area and every owner has installed a solar panel

A HCA is an area which is impacted by a heritage item or has special historical or building character..
You can still alter, modify to extend to your properties as long as it meets the rules and guidelines of the HCA.
    Minimal impact overall...
