Help understanding plan of subdivision

    Hi all,

    Am looking at a property but am struggling to understand the plan of subdivision.

    My reading of this is that, if I purchase unit 2, technically all the land outside of the unit building itself will be common property (despite current fencing etc with unit 1). This seems unusual, but by research suggests this might have been possible before the new subdivision act in 1988 (this is an RP prefix subdivision).

    Any thoughts appreciated.

    My take on that is that figure 1 and 2 are the units and all the rest is common property even inside the fenced areas. Might be best to get legal advice ‍♂️
