    Thank you, Steven!

I'm on the page 126 of the Brisbane thread, very grateful to all contributors for such a great info about suburbs and all sorts of forecasts and opinions :) I hope prices won't sky rocket in a couple of months when I'll get my finance organised. I haven't done any research on units yet, as it's a plan "C", might be better looking in other states then...

Stick with Brissie, stay away from the units... you'll be fine! :)

(Edit: And stay away from anything flood prone)

Or change a strategy to "rise 10 kids and charge them $100 p/w each to sponsor our retirement" :)))

I will be surprised (pleasantly, though) if prices skyrocket in Brisbane. It's definitely moving, some areas certainly at a decent rate but not crazy.

Curious though, what's stopping you sorting out finance now?

    I'm make units plan "D"–Don't.

My youngest son is 2 months old so it's a bit challenging at the moment to find some free time to get finance sorted. I hope it will be a bit easier in March as the little one gets older.

    Ha-ha, love plan D :)
