    Hi there! I’m Sharon Fox-Slater and the Managing Director of EBM RentCover – one of Australia’s leading landlord insurance providers. My team and I work with property investors and real estate agents to help better protect what is important – investments and incomes.

    A bit about me: I started with EBM back in 1993 and was part of the core team that helped launch one of Australia’s first landlord insurance policies into the market. I was also the first woman in Australia to complete the Advanced Diploma in Insurance Broking, so am passionate about educating property investors and property professionals about the value of aligning with a specialist landlord insurance provider.

    I'm here to help guide you through the maze of insurance jargon and answer any questions you may have about protecting your investment. I can also offer tips and tricks so you are better armed with the knowledge needed to reduce the risks that come with renting out your property. I look forward to chatting!

    What would be the "average" (and I know it's tricky given the variations in location etc) cost of a standalone landlords insurance policy for a $600K 2 bed unit in a capital city like Sydney be? Assuming good middle ring suburb $30K contents and no claims history....

    Hi Jacque, thanks for the welcome! You are right, it is tricky to give an average price because there are so many variables (sum insured, building type, building age, postcode, etc.).
