Hello all, Husband and wife team from Sydney East here. Use to be a member of the old Somersoft group but have been dormant for a few years. Recently purchased another terrace home in need of TLC, which we plan to renovate and use as an IP (either long term rental or Airbnb). Busy year planned next year as we hope to renovate our PPOR (another terrace) also. FYI, our design style in respect to terraces is to maintain and respect the facade, maximise internal floor area (though not necessarily number of bedrooms, preferring less rooms of good size), provide an abundant supply of natural light, with a super contemporary open plan / industrial style. Looking forward to getting to know you and sharing the property challenges we face.
Sounds great, good luck with it. Big fan of keeping the existing character. Got any photos of your contemporary / industrial style? Its something we're considering for ours.
Hello Alps. I'm datto from the opposite end of town. Approx 45 km due west of the coat hanger. Mt Druitt is my bread and butter, literally, we can't afford much more than that, lol . Just kidding. If we ever meet it would be a case of east meets west!

Small update. Plans were submitted late last year and we are hoping to get approval from Council soon. Definitely taken longer than we had hoped.
