    Ugh this is Rick Otton.. he does the whole "rent to buy" thing.. so they may well pay full price.. but not right away. And in the meantime your house will be "rented" to a person who can't get bank finance to buy.. and that person will also have an option to buy your house at some future date..​

    Its legally messy, horrible, fraught with risks and bordering on immoral.​

    "Very simple. Dont buy now". In Sydney. In 2012.

    Throw a dart at a map and buy any Sydney property in 2012. What would it be worth now?

    The sad thing is they are probably not kicking themselves. They are probably delusional that they are right and will still be able to buy at 2012 prices when the market crashes. :(

    Vendor finance is risky and you should do a lot of research and get some advice before proceeding.
