Apparently I used to go out with Maria Carey.

What rubbish, as I have never had a thing about shoes.

    Author
Daniel Donoghue is Professor of English at Harvard University. He is the author of Style in Old English Poetry: The Test of the Auxiliary and Lady Godiva: A Literary History of a Legend.

    Born: 14 April 1956 (age 61)

Daniel O'Donoghue on the other hand is the lead singer of The Script, much more interesting ;)

There is also an actor (with a different middle name): Daniel Hart Donoghue - IMDb born in the same year as me :)

I'm a semi famous golfer from the UK (never heard of him) but if you enter my full name including middle name, it shows my directorship of a trust in New Zealand when I was buying property there years ago. What's concerning is it shows my deed certificate with a scan of the document and my signature.. not cool with having my signature on the interwebz but how to get it removed?

Most of the first page results are me (social media, etc), not a very common name combination it would seem :)

Real me doesn't appear in the first 5 pages and I can't be bothered looking further than that.

Other me is apparently "..strongly opposed the bill to legalise Euthanasia". Bad other me!

Another me made a documentary. That's pretty cool.

Another me has a business registered in NSW.

Another me has studied Math at Harvard. That's pretty cool too.

My surname is less than common but apparently I combine life in Melbourne with being a retired vicar in Scotland and teaching music in Queensland.

Quite a coincidence that some things are exactly right, and some bits way off the mark

Sure, if you picked it up, as it seemed to fall out of my pocket when I was (incognito) in the local Bondi Micky D's having a Chicken Big Mac...

I did it a few years ago and I was a fat middle aged Las Vegas ELVIS impersonator.
My work mates once saw an old picture of me from the eighties donning a big moustache and commented I looked like an eighties porn star. A while later sitting around in the meal room, bored we decided to google each other's names and you wouldn't believe it, much to their merriment I came up as an eighties porn actor!
A fact which I'm reminded of quite regularly.

It may sound really narcissistic, but I've actually set up a Google alert for my name. I don't expect it will ever get a hit, but if someone is writing about me on the interwebs I want to know about it.

Fortunately my name is rare enough that it appears to work.
