VIC Has the free stamp duty taken off, Or just massive migration to Melbourne?

    The developers are milking the situation by creating scarcity. Although there is so much land to be released, especially Melbourne west...they are releasing 5-10 blocks. I really belive there needs to be some intervention to release more.

    One thing I noticed about people who want to benefit with the stamp duty savings is they tend to set their limit to maximum 600k. I question whether they know they are able to still get a discount if its above 600k...

    which suburb? There was one in Meadow Heights or nearby that head been sitting on realestate.com.au for ages

    This was a while back in reservoir back in May 17- nowadays same stuff are selling 800-900K.

    It’s probably the FOMO combined with migrations and affordability in outer suburbs. Its about to reach its peak soon when the market prices will not attract any more additional demand.

    @melbournian Im about to make another purchase, where would you be buying at the moment? 600k max budget. Ive been reading all your ACZ stuff, but I don't think my budget is big enough for any of those. There was one in cranbourne asking price was 1 mil.
