I just cleaned two friends roof gutters.
Police have roads blocked and are evacuating, for good reason !
    Looking back when leaving.

Even though were are in Sutherland, our bags are in the car ;)
(I remember being in Bellbrae Vic for ash Wednesday:confused: 20180415_112022.jpg )

    Scary.

Have they installed fire plugs (gutter plugs) so they can fill the gutters with water?

Yeah I got up on my roof, today, too. Luckily I cleaned out the gutters a couple of weeks ago, so it wasn't too bad. I back up right onto the valley between Engadine and Lucas Heights. We've got our emergency kit ready to go as well.

Hard to believe that there was some 90 fire alerts across NSW this weekend.

Keeping gutters clear to prevent embers setting debris on fire and inturn your roof space is certainly a good idea, as well as generally keeping things tidy.

All those various ads over the years about having a fire plan sunk in....
