interesting one. Im not an App Developer but had a client who sells some Apps on the Apple App Store. Sales less than $75k

BUT Apple apparently requires everyone to be registered for GST before selling apps on the App Store. So even if your other revenue from other sites is less than $75k as you are registered for GST then all the sales are taxable supplies.

Interesting Apple has made GST registration mandatory. Anyone else affected by this ?

Is the Apple store selling the app or are the developers selling directly using Apple Store as the sales/marketing aggregator?

Apple DO require sellers of approved apps to have GST registration. This differs from Google. Its a take it or leave it issue. There is a issue Apple know of whijch relates to agency and they could be liable so they force compliance.

Ebay are close to adopting that model
