We also loathe it most of the time. We have a lovely lady who does all our shopping for us, delivers it for us and puts it away. We found her off gumtree. She’s a gem. Maybe you could enlist the help of similar?

She sounds perfect. I want her!

Did you advertise for her? Or was she advertising it herself? And how much does she charge?

Would save the time spent actually ordering each item on the website.
Plus they could vet the items so you don't get over-ripe rubbish.
In saying that - we just use woollies online

I use Hello Fresh, deliver ingredients for five meals a week and a menu plan. Got started as the local supermarket isn't so super.

I can write a list in 5 minutes, it still takes ages online - often as much as going to the shops. The benefit is that you can sit in your pj's at 3 in the morning if it suits. And cherry pick the half price specials!

I use aussie farmers direct for the convenience. Their app is amazing. Really simple and quick. They are a bit more than coles but i can go weeks without a coles order so i think i might be saving as there are fewer impulse buys. Also encourages more cooking from scratch. They deliver every mon and thurs in my area and it just takes me 5 mins to put the order in the day before.

Ive been really happy with the quality. Twice in the last couple of years there has been a problem with my order, and they have given me a quick, full refund.

They deliver to me at about midnight, so i either pick it up in the morning (they provide ice blocks) or if ive ordered fish i get it in the middle of the night.

Try them once and you will see what i mean about the app. If coles had an app like that i would probAbly use AFD less or not at all.

Oz has a long way to go.
The UK has this licked. So easy you would hardly go to the shops ever again.
    There's a market here.

Gross. I'd hate it if somebody licked my groceries.

My phone autocorrected and you quoted before I could correct my phone.

For the record I hate Samsung autocorrect.

I used to use Coles and woollies online when love a bit far from the shop. Now I'm closer and I spend the same amount of hours shopping online as I do offline (pick choose remove because it's too expensive, hangs on maybe I want it, repeat)

I also don't do clothes shopping, so this is my shopping time, sadly enough

We order youfoodz home delivered meals and order shopping online for the rest of the stuff we need - either via woolies home delivery or Coles via their pick up option (you choose everything and pay online - then pick up from the local dock).

Having said that - I've got into a routine of heading to the markets on a Saturday morning. I'm starting to actually enjoy shopping a bit more :)

    Cheers

    Jamie

Send my best wishes to Mr @Jess Peletier, he'll get through this! I hope his cooking isn't suffering during the outsourcing process!

I must be unusual as I shop nearly every day, I like to inspect fruit, vegies & meat before I buy and would never buy unseen i.e. delivered ... after being very disappointed with what I got delivered from Woolies. I even shake the bags of rice to see if they are cobweb free :D mind you I have no business interests at the moment to keep me occupied.

I could start a thread about the produce from 'Woolies' the Fresh Food people but if you have shopped there you know that a lot of their produce is anything but fresh :( same for Coles.
