Hi my name's Dale. I am 24 & work in the I.T. sector for QLD Health.

    I currently own 0 IP's .. But I hope to soon change that :)

At the moment I am just saving $$$ for a deposit and doing plenty of reading.

Hi dale. You'll need your employer to lift their game with the pay situation if you want to get a loan! Haha, does qld health know how to do payroll yet??

    Hi Dale, welcome aboard.
Are you researching for an IP in QLD?
Is QLD Health hiring again after the payroll debacle?

Thanks Alex. Yeah I figured I oughta do something with my savings, everyone keeps telling me to. :p

Actually, I started a few months after the major payroll debacle so I never had any issues. But I have heard plenty of stories ;)

Yes, ideally south east qld. I live in Greenbank.
QLD Health are always hiring. There are always plenty of I.T. projects going on..

Well you are a step ahead of me! I bought IP1 at 24 without researching loan structuring ect. You are far better off learning whilst you save instead of diving in like I did... I am thankful that I got reasonably lucky with my purchase.

    Welcome!

Absolutely agree with you Diligent. There is so much valuable information on this forum. Only wish I had more time throughout the day to read.

That's good to hear, glad it turned out well for you.

Actually, I almost did the same thing :p .. I recently put in an offer for a property but was turned down. I offered What I thought was below market value & at a 6% yield if my offer was accepted.

Probably a good thing, I need a little extra $$$ for a 20% deposit on something around 300k anyway.

    Stamp duty is killer :(
