    Hi all

Came across this forum by chance some time ago and have been learning a lot about investing from more experienced investors.

Thanks @Property Twins for the warm welcome :)
Me and wife started in 2011 and now have a modest portfolio and now just waiting to see when to make the next move.

Thanks Eric. TBH not sure yet as we havent bought anything for the past 3 years as I sensed the sydney market started to cool. So now just waiting and seeing when to resuming buying and where (depends on where the "bargains" are) :)

    agree, lots of uncertainty ATM.

but opportunities could present themselves quickly, just need to make sure you are ready to act when opportunities appear, i.e extra equity from existing portfolio while Sydney is still on reasonable high price, use the extracted equity as deposit and buffer.

You should assess your borrowing capacity.
People have been in for quite a shock lately with the change in focus towards expenses.
