Hi everyone. Have been watching this forum for quite a while then i finally bite the bullet and signed up. I am a newbie when it comes to investing. We fell into it by accident. Bought in Southern Adelaide in 2009. Enjoyed the place, did a few renovations. My wife both work in the city and our first born goes to Childcare close by. When my wife was pregnant with our 2nd child she said "I'm not commuting 2 hours per day (back and from) the city so we decided to to rent on the city fringes and rent our place out. Watching the house grow, recieving quite a bit of tax back made me realise this is something that works. So for me now my focus is about reading reading reading! I'm not to bothered about seminars, but I do plan on attending the monthly catch ups in Adelaide. I have a buy and hold goal so that I can provide for my family. I see it as something I can pass onto my kids - skills and assets. I'm not going to shy away from asking "silly" questions because i am New and think that how else will I learn. Enough from me! Cheers JB
Hi and welcome jb Sounds like you did OK, just do more of the same. Renovate and rent has worked for most of us Adelaide investors. The last catch up was here SA - Adelaide Meetup - All welcome so I suspect the next isn't too far away. In the meantime feel free to ask whatever you like.
Welcome aboard! Check out the Form...DT and Xenia are PMs in Adelaide on this Forum to connect with locally
