I've learnt a lot from these guys over the last few years and their top blokes. It's a very basic clip but enjoyable. More episodes just YouTube if you're interested.

I follow them on Insta after being introduced to them by my QLD builder. One of their carpenters, Ryan, is from Perth

I like most of their designs and some of the materials and stuff they use to jazz up a build doesn't cost extravagant amounts but is a little unique and very striking. Love this balustrade.

@Westminster check this balustrade out. I'm flirting with the idea to use it.

I really like the balustrade. But I don't think I'd ever use metal stairs - they would be so noisy!
I'm not quite convinced it meets the standards for a balustrade. The height of those horizontal sections with the double gaps doesn't look compliant to me.

I would be surprised if this balustrade wold meet standards. Gaps are too big and it is climbable...

Just the balustrade not the steps. Doesn't look compliant but the design could be rejigged to comply I reckon.

Slight change in the design I guestimate should do it. Just narrower gaps.

Yeah I think you can get a similar look using all rectangles rather than squares and rectangles

I'd love to do something like this one day

I'll do it ( or similar) on my next Dev in brissie. In the planning stage now. Fingers crossed won't be a disaster

Maybe - that would certainly make it more compliant.
