    Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone on the forum has had experience with ownership of a GP practice (incl. building)? Would love to discuss with you in this thread/ inbox.

I am currently in the process of searching for a GP practice in QLD.

Pretty much they are insitu for 10+ years often until retirement of the head GP.

A couple of recent experiences - land was sold for a development site with the adjoining 2 lots and the GPs moved to a clinic about 100m away in the shops.

Another single doctor practice went to the 10 year old multi service clinic down the road but he had been there for 40+ years. (no X-rays, dental, physio or chemist in-house) - purpose built clinic.

Another in the same area, the business was purchased by a new operator with most of the doctors, pathology & nurse remaining as independent sub-tenants contractors.

IPN - buys up larger medical centres (with ancillary facilities chemist, X-rays, pathology, physio etc) - all doctors are independent contractors.
