    Whoever purchased in 2008 got burned hard and rents have only increased by $20 a week in that whole 7 year period.

    2 years ago was the time to buy in Springfield. Once the rail station was commissioned the suburb had an uptick. I have looked at Goodna as being ideally located to rail and it is an established suburb so unlike some of the newer suburbs, the competition is visible. Stock in newer suburbs is not

    Springfield is a far nicer suburb than Redbank Plains, Goodna, Gailes area. I have an IP in Springfield (cash flow positive) which used to be my PPOR. It's a quiet family area and now with the train line a big bonus. I would avoid Springfield Lakes as the blocks are very small and I don't see the value in them.
