    I am looking for a good rental yield suburbs in Vic to invest. Around the 400K mark.

    or

    even a big size land with the potential to build units on there.

    Just researching for now, looking to buy in the next 6 months probably

    I actually agree that its worth a look for someone who isn't set on buying right now and can take advantage of the coming price falls. Given the more stringent planning regulations and push for quality (read, higher priced) apartments, this down-cycle may be the last one that you can snag a Melbourne CBD apartment for under 400k, especially if it has parking. Not sure how much strata and rates are in the city, but gross yields are looking pretty decent (noted that may change as more supply hits the market).
