    Hi Guys,

The handyman I used to engage for my Brisbane properties has finally moved abroad... So If anyone can recommend a reliable, honest and competitively priced handyman for Brisbane, it would be most appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

I will post a name when I get on my desktop and not my phone. Remind me if I forget.

I've not had Bruce do work for me yet but he is preparing a quote for us so we will give him a try.

I'm currently using John from home Handyworx.

His quotes are super itemised, he gives you multiple options and pricing levels of doing the same job so you can select how you want it done..

Toilet is plumber, grout is tiler or handyperson, I would not pay a plumber to do grout :)

Agree - but some I was hoping a handyman could do grout and replace toilet.

They're really hard to come by. We had a guy recommended by a relative who was based in the Redlands - ex builder. I tell you when he fixed the gate that had been repaired three times that was the end of it - fixed for good!

However, he became very selective (wouldn't travel far) and we had to find someone else. This was even despite us saying just go there and fix it and send us the bill.

He did a fairly small job for me recently (repaired (replaced) a rotting window frame) and did it nicely. He was upfront, honest and tried to give me options depending on budget.

Ill get him to do a little more when i get two seconds to think about what needs doing
