Precious Metals Gold Stocks Soaring

Bit of an uptick in Gold has given a solid boost to related mining companies.

I recently added a decent parcel of SLR at 14c and MML at 36.5c to my super and both have roughly doubled in a short period of time.

Sadly I also have some miners I've held long term which are down substantially (in the order of 80%), but recent gains (in the above two and another position in NST) have more than made up for them.

If the bottom is in for Gold then this sector is likely to be very hot over coming years, though short term looks overbought...

SAR up from 40c to 60c
NST up from $2 to $3
EVN from $1 to $1.5
MLX from $1 to $1.4

All in the space of a couple months. Not bad.
