    Hi experts :)

I know very little about this light rail debacle but was interested in an IP in the GC.

600K budget for a house ideally.

The mother lives in Palm Beach so hopefully not ridiculously far.

    Thank you

Ps.... Any areas positively impacted by it?

Southport very positively impacted so I think the glink is a winner , very comfortable and always get a seat . They catch fare evaders commonly so best to buy a ticket. I love trains and love the tram which is Glink

I am on the goldy now, and for what its worth, you could buy anywhere near the beach and you'll do well, imo

what's the conversion rate for violent crimes over there at the moment? Lol. Seriously though you are the 2nd person to suggest that today.

600k is pretty low I suppose but let's see what we can get. The missus wants an IP house but I reckon we might be able to get a pretty awesome unit closer to the water.

I am looking as well, around the 600-700 mark, I think anywhere will do well long term , but IMO : palm beach, burleigh, dbah area - hill, etc

Have you seen the style of units going up Burleigh and Palmy? I spend a lot of time Bali, and can see the same style being used now on the goldy, this will attract a lot of younger interest

Bali / Asia has been printing out a similar sort of apartment facade and style for some time now, now we are only starting to see it on the coast....... talk about behind!

Might have to check them out but I'm looking more at the older refurbished ones. Not many around that offer a lot. There was a couple on Mawarra (too many around there) and actually third ave had one a couple of weeks ago. Will keep an eye on it.

Actually I swear I saw one of the older ones on Jefferson being offered seven weeks back.

No houses near water (river or ocean) in that budget. Not along the Palm Beach strip. You'll get into Labrador. Look as close to Broadwater as you can.
Otherwise entertain a low rise unit in a walk up block in your desired area.
