    Depending on the amount you buy, you can have it delivered anywhere in armored car. ... but do you want one of those rocking up to your residence if keeping at home?

    Smaller amounts is like carrying cash.

    Yes, smaller amounts over maybe a few trips? It is amazing how little gold in volume you get for $10,000 :)

    Yeah, 5 ounces of gold is currently $8,647 at ABC Bullion - 5oz ABC Gold Cast Bar 9999
    You can carry that in your pocket.

    If you want to buy more, then take a backpack is my suggestion.

    If you buy gold in a SMSF you can't stash it at home. It has to be stored in a facility that is deemed to be safe. I used ABC Bullion in castlereagh st Sydney- really good. Your SMSF accountant will ask for an annual statement that you will have to get from ABC Bullion showing that your gold is stashed there
