I saw the trailer for The Girl On The Train the other day. I loved the book, hopefully the screen version does it justice. Weirdly, it seems they kept the main character English, but everyone else in the trailer spoke with American accents

Watched Danish girl the other day. Beautiful movie. If anyone, the actor aka actress deserved an Oscar for the performance.

@Mumbai I agree. I'd never seen her in anything else, I have since added a few of her other films to my list.

If you want to see a good movie, about a English Ski Jumper who against all the odds does what his dreams told him from a child, and never gave up..

We enjoyed it- a good story.

Apparently the man himself warned people, before it was released, that only about 15% was factual. Apparently he came very close to getting into the winter Olympics four years before as a downhill skier; he took up ski jumping in New York because he couldn't afford to keep training downhill.

Any recommendations for new movies in theatres now or coming soon?
Might actually make a trip to the cinema.

Even if it was only 15% real life facts, there is a power full message inside the story, never give up..

    Big Short is very enjoyable.

The Revenant is fantastic. Get a big screen and surround sound. I watched it on the plane and enjoyed it immensely. I regret not seeing it at the cinema.

Suicide Squad is good from start to finish, even better if you collect or are into DC comics, just don't be turned off by the title name of the movie.

This is stark opposite the reviews I read about the movie. I have not seen it yet.

I thought suicide squad was terrible and I love anything to do with DC movies/comics. People in our cinema actually booed at the end. Apparently they have two cuts just like they did with batman vs superman. If they release a longer version I'd watch it but I couldn't see myself watching the theatrical cut ever again.
