It was an exciting game - a good showcase for the Vic audience. I don't know if NSW can win the next one but it will be close.

Klemmer didn't seem interested in playing league during that last 10 minutes! He's a bit of a thug - but that usually means a promising origin career.

    Cheers

The thuggery was pretty high in that game.. I can't stand to see an elephant size player take out the (pint size) kicker late, as what happened to Thurston.. Like most years qld will have the last laugh

Blues supporter (used to live in NSW), everyone is SA jumps on the QLD bandwagon, as it's the only place most have been.

I am also a NSW Blues supporter, but I grew up in Adelaide following the Crows. I always find rugby league "not as good as AFL", but State of Origin one of the best sports entertainment given the passion for both sides. AFL simply doesn't have anything like State of Origin.

If they were all nice and friendly with each other it would be boring. Gallen made game 2 what it was. Origin needs it's villains. He makes it interesting at least.

I would rather have a **** head like Gallen than a sneaky grub like Slater. So glad he is gone for the season.

    Haha - agree 100%

He'd be an extremely frustrating guy to play against - but awesome to have on your team.

Did he break a rib and come back on shortly after? Those dudes are tough. I broke my pinky finger and had physio for 3 months. True story.

    Cheers

Looked like an absolute lunatic. Reminded me of Mark Geyer when he hit Origin. I predict he will have the same minimal impact.
