If I'd had a daughter, she'd be Audrey or Aubrey. I guess she'd be early 20's so wouldn't meet too many others.
Would be diappointing if three other variations on the theme were in the same class. Olivia is beautiful - no worries, you were ahead of the game as usual. She gets an admired name before everyone else has to own it.
Can't believe that Emma, Emily, Amelia etc are still top of the pops. Nice names I guess.
I still reckon stick with classical but less common.

    Less Moore?

Ok.. ok.. I'll be helpful (or make it more complicated) :D
I have attached an excel sheet which calculates numerology based on two different systems ( Pythagoras & Chaldean).
Chaldean looks at how the baby is called. So I look for the first name which satisfies Chaldean.
Pythagoras looks at how the name is written. So I look for the whole name which satisfies Pythagoras.

You have two ways to experiment.
    1. You can load the name in cell G3 from a list. If you want to add more names to the list then go to the sheet 'selected'.
    2. Type your own name in H3. You can save a name if you like it. You have the option to clear the whole list as well.

On the right side, I have added the good & bad numbers for all birth numbers (1-9). It is near hard to get everything perfect but you can try to make sure the name is at least not bad in both systems for both set of names.

Happy explain more over the phone if you are keen in this sort of stuff.

I agree that you do not want an overly common name... But in saying that... I am sure it goes without saying....Please do not butcher a perfectly normal name with Y's and X's... I have seen Adelaide with a spelling that some how incorporated three y's!!! Also... No double barrelled first names! Just a pet hate of mine. As for names I actually like... I have always liked Victoria... In my head it sounds regal! Longer names that have an easy nickname are always a bonus.

This post reminded me of a name I really loved and still do but even if we had a girl hubby didn't like it - Mallory. He said it sounded like a surname. I still like it :)

My grandmothers' names Sophie and Olivia.

I also always liked Charlotte, but now it is not as cool anymore when they gave it to the princess o_O

Also Eleanor or Leonor are beautiful names.

It was many years ago that we had this problem.

With the surname of Whitfield, there were a few names we couldn't use.

Veronica would have been a VW.

Theresa would have been a TWhitfield.

And Fiona would have been a little F Whit.

We named our daughter 'Kona' after the town where the Hawaiian Ironman starts/finishes.

Plenty of city names come to mind....Montana, Dakota, Paris......

Go for something classical, with the proper spelling. I'm sure she'll thank you for it when she's older.
