    Hey folks

Looking at purchasing a 1 acre block in Melton.

It’s zoned low density residential but directly close to commercial zone, main highways etc

Ideally looking at building one dwelling that can house upto 15 families (apartment style)

Anyway to get around council zoning requirements?

Anyone done this before or impossible?

Basically wanting to build a dwelling that can accomodate upto 15 families and be rented out on a ‘dorm’ type of setup.

    Any advice would be great

Address is 6 Killarney Drive Melton

NSW. Victoria, do they have something similar?

Be prepared to budget for, and go to court.

Alternatively, purchase the minimum land required to apply for a rezoning.
