Have an IP in Western Sydney's 2770 area that has a minor German cockroach problem. Old tenants had them and now the new tenants have them so time to get rid of the roaches.

Called a few people and this is what I have so far
    Roachbusters - $175 with 6 month warranty
Pink Pest Services - $225 with 3 month warranty
Pride - $225 and don't know about warranty (PM got this quote)

Does anyone have any recommendations on a company to get rid of cockroaches or any feedback on the above companies?

Generally most Pest Controllers will be able to deal with German cockroaches. They are a
common pest. Especially near moist or warm areas of a home. I had an experience where I had to deal with a big issue year ago. The pest guy told me they breed very quickly in numbers and escalate at lightning speed. He also said whilst pest control is effective in managing the problem, unfortunately it is extremely hard to completely wipe them out as you only need 2 to not be killed and they numbers just shoot up again. You will have to have regular sprays I assume. I am not a pest expert though, just repeating what I was told.
In my case they property was knocked down after about a year and cleared out so hard to say the effect it had over the longer term. I hope there is a better solution these days than there was back then.

We found that it was a big problem in summer months and because we live in a unit block they just kept coming. We tried three different companies (Sydney's best pest control and two other ones) and none worked. We bought our own chemicals through a supplier (proper chemicals.. not just from bunnings) and haven't seen a cockroach in almost a year.

Knocking the house down just to solve a cockroach problem seems a bit extreme o_O

My apartment building has massive roach priblems.
Every single day i saw at least 3 .
Night time they were everywhere ... I tried baits etc .

Until i found the roach bomb sprays
Now at least once a month before i head to work i open the windows , put a bomb under the bed , one in the cupboard , one under the lounge , one in the toilet , and then off to work .
Never saw a cockroach now for months !!

Thank you everyone for your feedback and suggestions.

Bayview I could not find any information on KAOS or Colonel Klink (Hogans Heroes fan).

No Mates Scott I contacted Amalgamated who had a 12 month warranty and were $225. The problem with them is they had a waiting period of 3 weeks.

Decided to go with Pride who also had a 12 month warranty and can do the job in a few days.
