Georgian Homes; Can you build them around 500k? NSW

    It is a bad bad idea but can't help thinking!!
    Building on a land that we already got (non deductible debt 80k) - a bit far out from towncentre in regional NSW. I know we are going to over chaptalise but it's going to be our ppor.. :D:cool:
    Financially not going to help as non-deductible debt will be increased from current 250k. :oops:
    But we really really like Georgian homes! I saw costs up to a million or so to build in Vic..:( More demand there too..
    Cheap replica would be worst than any cookie cutter builts but anybody happens to know cheaper Georgian builders?? Maybe 600k... 700k ;)

    Although they look great, do you think that style is suited to the climate in regional NSW?
    The bull nose and wrap around verandahs came into fruition for a reason ...o_O
