    Hi all

    I've purchased a house in Brisbane's South (10-15kms from city)

    I need to get someone to help me do a yard clean up and to polish the floors (sandpaper and strain). Does anyone have any recommendations?

    I'm also considering to have a few trees cut. Any recommendations?

    I can highly recommend Alex (floor sander) 0433 441 723. We've had work done by Alex a few times now and he does a great job and isn't expensive. I believe a few forum members have used him as well, and have been very happy with his work too.

    I generally wouldn't recommend using the same company for both.

    I used All Flooring Solutions and I would NOT recommend them.

    Quoted 5 days to finish the job. Did not turn up first day, no phone call or reason.
    Didn't turn up the last day...3 days in a row. No phone call or apology. Called many times to ask what's going on. Many calls not returned after saying they will look into it and let me know. Horrible communication. Asked for no other trades at the house while floors completed, had to keep delaying other trades to finish the renovation.
