Noticed a gap in the back wall of a single car garage. Garage was probably built when the house was built in the 1950/60s.

Is this a case of filling mortar back into it? Or something more costly?

    What trade does these repairs?

    Thanks

A bricklayer will repair this. I would ask for their advice about the best approach. Probably just need to replace the mortar (the bricks have moved a bit over the years but could have been stable for years since...).

Is it just one layer of bricks without a frame?

Yes, just one layer of bricks with wooden joists and a corrugated iron-type roof in between the brick walls.

Could be subsidence in footing / piers supporting the wall under the flooring. The crack may be due to changed levels in that corner.as the crack seems to follow the corner.

Any bricky can fix this easily. Nothing to worry about. Shouldnt cost much either.
