after the Domain article was published, I read some of the replies on Domain's FB comments, and compared that with the replies from PC members. what a difference!. Just made me think that no wonder 90% of the population are so ...... We are a good bunch here.

 

Unless your going to start a business, there is no appeal to letting the media hang out your washing for all too see, you should be paid a fee if your not being compensated with business IMO, do not do it just for ego's sake.

Some may legit be against it ideologically, some may not have had opportunity, you can understand those groups, it is the others who would knife you due to own laziness that are hard to swallow.

There seems to be real hatred aimed at some of the people who have done stories.

I think it is great yourself and some of the others we know have a go, what the bitter do not see is that the skills and discipline learnt is an enabler for many things in life, so your miles ahead.

 

Well, there must be some ☺ but i can see why it can have benefits.

 

I saw some of those nasty comments. Some of them were clearly there to just troll.

 

Some of them are seriously upsetting, I've learnt to make my filter pretty dense. Constructive criticism = great. Being a nasty human = ignore.

Yeah, I read some of the FB comments. Plenty of ignorant things said, that's for sure, but also plenty of people supportive of your story.

Another reason I don't have a Facebook account.

thanks @Simon Hampel , I really enjoyed chatting with you, lots of insights re property investing and running business. a very generous and sincere gentleman you are. the meet ups have amazing opportunities to meet with like minded people and inspired by each other. ( it is rare in general public).
