I think I have got this covered now, I have all of the above.

Foxtel for my doco/crime shows, wont give this up for anything

Netflix - a couple of good series ie Suits

Stan - disenchanted with this, pretty sure I will give it the flick any day now.

Presto - some great movies and a brilliant series - Robot.

I think I have to start looking at setting up Netflix US.

TV addict?? :) Netflix US is a major PItA to setup now, thanks to Netflix's crackdown on geo-blocking.

You don't need a new Netflix account, you just need to be able to switch region using a smart DNS provider. Unfortunately these providers have been facing an uphill battle this year.

My provider can only resolve the problem if I choose to watch via a PC. I used to use an appletv with a US iTunes account, but have since setup a home theatre PC through the TV, and can watch and record FTA (usually only rugby matches).

Streaming-wise I can now watch Netflix, Hulu, BBC, UK Channel4, UK iTV, LiveStream sports, ABC iView, and youtube channels.

    I don't watch that much TV. I'm just a nerd. :)

+ ...Smart DNS is about $5/mth. Hulu is about $10/mth. I'm pretty sure you'll get all your crime series tv with Hulu. British and American.. then you could ditch Foxtel.
