    Lol

A couple of weeks means 12 to 24 months.

I've heard that from planner at bayswater and Vincent. both said the same thing back in Dec 2014

The power of positive thinking people will tell you that your mental attitude creates your reality. They obviously haven't dealt with councils. There is a new planning minister though so I guess there is some chance that this will get signed off. It's going to be time for Kalamunda to review their LPS again and they still won't have this policy approved.

Just rang the planning department for an update, policy has been adopted by council and sent to the minister for signing. They expect it to happen either this week or early January.

    Really? That quick.
I think the TPS 2 for Vincent was sent to minister for signing back in March or June thus year and is expected to be signed in a few months. @Westminster have I got my time links wrong?

I think the TPS2 for Vincent has been embroiled in the brouhaha for the Claisebrook batching plant. So now it's finally been reviewed and WAPC has asked for ammendments. Vincent will assess those ammendments, probably make those ammedments and then send back.
I think the actual final review of plan will be quite quick - only 1-2mths lol

The woman I spoke to said they had heard in the last couple of days that it had been sent to the minister for signing. She sounded pretty confident.

That and other issues like the relevance of Built Form 7.1.1 as a viable alternative to the R Codes etc.

Read the advice notes to the minister in the SAT decision re the batching plant!!!!!

I rang the council just now, the minister has signed on the dotted, just waiting for it to be gazetted :)

Finally it's done. I just received the Council email confirming this. Just had a look at the link provided and from what I can see, it's flexible for sub division applications. There are two sections, development applications and sub division applications with similar conditions. Sub division application means we can actually sub divide without demonstrating that we intend to develop (conditions apply of course). Which is a big plus for those who were hoping on selling the sub divided lot without developing. Correct me if I'm wrong here.. All the conditions are pretty similar to what we've discussed. Demolishing of existing home clause has been removed so no dramas there.

    Yes no demolish
Can get higher zoning on less than 1000sqm if you have 2 of more different types of dwellings but one must be 2 storey
