    It relates to a declaration by the vendor/agent on the amount of commission being paid to the agent and attached to a contract.

    There are limited circumstances where this may be a valid requirement (why it was done in the 1980s) but otherwise none of the purchaser's business.

    Why does a buyer need to know how much the seller is prepared to pay the agent in any circumstances? This is commercial in confidence.
