I would think that the instructions for attending a test would include something along the lines of “Don’t use public transport, go straight to/from testing site, wear a mask, remain at a distance.”

Choosing a specific day for testing is a means of spreading out the numbers of people attending for testing. By Day 11, I’m guessing if you test negative then, you’re going to be home free.

That’s a shame! This isn’t much fun either though. My son is confined to his room and I need to serve home food and drink and he has to have his own bathroom/toilet. Police called and checked on him yesterday while the rest of us were at the beach. 15 pages of paperwork. Lots of rules. The first day he arrived home is considered day 0 so it’s stretched out to closer to 15-16 days of isolation.

My understanding is the first day he arrived home -7.00am is considered day 0, then at midnight day 1 begins. Then day 11 get tested, have to isolate until midnight of day 14. (I guess that gives them heaps of time to receive results)

Ah gosh, I just gave a microwave away a couple of days ago. That would have been a good idea! He’s been asking for his own fridge for years. That will never happen! Hehe

    Oh no.

Adding insult to injury looks like our airbnb accommodation wont be refunded

Airfares will be credited x 3 people.

I am seriously concerned for my daughter and her mental health, this has been a big blow
