Will love it when kids are grown, right now, there are 5 of us so no, not paying for 5 seats business class. :)

About half of business class do on demand in my experience. If you ask nicely you can normally delay a meal. They normally just want to work out what's going to be left over so they can have a meal themselves.

Obviously short flights have less options.
American staff seem to go to this school -

Having flown Business Class on several airlines ,it seems EMIRATES is the only one with the privacy partition you can be separated by the person next to you.

i would rather this than sitting next to a drunk like i did with on Thai business class...i guess im just not a people person nor talkative:mad:

I don't really mind which class I fly.
The one thing that I won't change is that with the Emirates and other Arab airlines ( yes I've flown them all!) front, back and middle,it makes absolutely no difference if I am being served by an Arab man.
The level of service I receive is rarely what I would expect as a human being....
Having said that I know many, many very kind and loving, courteous Arab Men!
    Just not Cabin crew.
Nowadays, I will not travel on a Middle Eastern owned airline alone, no matter what good deal it is, unless I have an XY chromosomal person sitting with me!
    sad but true.
James Brown said it all! Its a mans world...

But if you are with your partner it's worse.

You may end up getting divorced. Or at least separated

i found your post interesting about the service,I must say that I found Australian cabin crew to be a bit discourteous more, especially when i demand Kosher meals.

i have been served by Arabic men on Emirates usually they are the young fem type and have always been courteous to me but i like your post:)

You are showing two problems here.

One is demanding, rather than requesting.

The other is not preordering meals. If you preorder before your flight, you not only get your kosher meal, you'll probably be served before everybody else.

no real trick just start using them and they will email you their specials including upgrading to BC. If there are empty seats they want to fill them this is how you get your foot in the door at $1K or seriously cheaper
