Had to post @skater second reno, only cos they did the hard yards, numbers are real and how it can work so well if you buy well and understand your market. Now search for skaters number 1 reno.:)

To be honest, flipping can work anywhere, the trick is to find the right property, at the right price, and have the knowledge & skills to make it work. Lots of DD needs to be made.

Yeah a bit weird they did that. Maybe it was for personal use, they did a tremendous job on the outside though.. They want over $3m

Agree. Laundry could have been at the end of the kitchen, insulate the doors for noise and vent to the outside. That leaves the third bedroom as a proper bedroom.

Other than that, what an amazing transformation!

looks arty-farty but not very practical to live in. lack of actual rooms and low ceilings in places.
don't know how much architects charge to do a place up like that. also not the greatest location in north melb. if i had money id buy an actual house.

I think it's ugly, impractical and a total waste of the space available.

I remember that one. We would have loved to have tackled that renovation. What an amazing opportunity to make something special. We didn't like most of what they did either. So much potential and if I bought it now, I'd want to start over.
